The culture is very much tied to the city's culture: everyone know each other and everyone is related and everyone knows each other's business. People are nosy and care if you left early a couple days and then need to gossip to find out why you left early. People spend so much energy and time complaining about their work load and talking about non work related stuff. They channel the energy in the wrong places.
