Pros
1.) It is an ecommerce company which has it's own IT department. 2.) It has the advantages of a small company which includes: Fixed shift, flexibility to take leaves and breaks (not exceeding 1 hour) as per your requirement, free freshly made tea, access to internet etc. 3.) Even if a child will work in this company, he will become a mature adult within 6 months. No pun intended. Interacting with the client is similar to interacting with the VPs of MNCs. You will start looking at things in a different way. 4.) You will not be affected by the stress of the corporate life.
Cons
1.) Low salary. If you are not getting a job in the MNCs due to some reasons, then you can try this out. 2.) No paramaters to judge performance. Every good company has parameters in place to judge an employee's performance. Every role has KRAs and KRIs. This company has fixed the KRAs but they have not decided the KRIs. Your job depends on your reporting manager and colleague's oral feedback which is then documented. Your contribution to the company does not matter. Your roles and responsibilities are not explained properly when you join the company. You will continue doing things which you are told to do, and after 6 months they will say that you are a wrong hire and you will be kicked out of the company. Lack of training and the feedback process is their main issue. Backbiting is the favourite job of some employees. Every good company has a feedback and a Performance Improvement Plan in place. They have not implemented this. 3.) Appraisal: Again this depends on oral feedback. If you are a fresher or if you are not getting a job in a MNC then join this company. I am not criticizing this company, all companies have their pros and cons.
