-Leadership at my location created a culture of favoritism and exclusion, which led to an unhealthy and fear-based environment. -Managers were often not visible on the sales floor, limiting opportunities for relationship-building, coaching, and support for the team. -Employees did not feel comfortable raising concerns because feedback was often dismissed, and speaking up sometimes resulted in negative consequences. -There were noticeable issues of bias and lack of inclusivity, which made it difficult for all employees to feel equally valued. -Advancement did not feel based on merit; opportunities appeared to be tied to personal connections rather than demonstrated leadership ability. -The employer brand is being affected externally as well. I’ve spoken with candidates who shared that they had discouraging experiences during the hiring process, which reflects poorly on the company’s reputation.
