Pros

1. They say they hire for critical thinking ability over experience and that's very much been true for my time here so far. They're not scared to put you in positions of responsibility and do everything they can to support your learning to grow into those positions. 2. The workplace is completely remote but definitely feels intimate. Weekly retros, a virtual workplace on Discord, and socials have been nice. 3. They try very hard to keep capacity in mind in the company with a focus on work/life balance. Everyone's always traveling somewhere and the team tries to accommodate for it.

Cons

The autonomy and responsibility definitely come with a level of pressure to be on your game. We're all directly interacting with clients, working on big company initiatives, and are expected to be performing at a high-level. Definitely not a slow and steady process that you'd usually get at larger companies. But they're definitely up front with that and the people on the team seem to thrive on it.

Pros

After spending the earlier years of my career in corporate, I can honestly say that working at Klyxx has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences that I've had. Despite being relatively inexperienced for my role, I was able to pick up responsibility quickly and was given autonomy over various projects that had a direct impact on the company operations. I couldn't have asked for better support from my manager or team members; there is a strong culture of open feedback and transparency, which has helped me grow so much more in the last 2 years.

Cons

It's a startup so Klyxx is very much in the beginning stages of operations. There's going to be a ton of growing pains, and you really have to get your hands dirty from the onset. You feel a little bit thrown into the fire at first and expectations are quite high to succeed. I think certain individuals aren't cut out for this type of environment, but I can say the team members who have stayed are some of the most talented I have ever worked with.
