Pros

I really enjoyed my three years at Kittle. The work was always varied across all kinds of sectors, which provides a broad range of experience very quickly. If you are a humanities grad or someone who likes writing, Kittle is a great place to learn fast and get the skills for a great career. You are given a lot of responsibility to deliver complete projects either by yourself or as part of a (usually) small team, so if you take pride in your work, this process is often very satisfying. There is a uniquely fun atmosphere in the office that will be hard – if not impossible – to find elsewhere. It is, however, far from a 'lads club', so don't let that put you off. Alan, Sam, and Chris genuinely care about making the company a good place to work (and it is).

Cons

While Kittle management are always very reasonable, they can't control what client's do and don't do, which can be stressful. There is generally no working from home, which may be an issue for some. This is part of the company culture though, and if you buy into this (move locally, get involved in socials etc) you will have fun.

Pros

Great social atmosphere and fun team - expect team outings, festivals, running groups, and spontaneous nights out Extremely varied work, you'll work with all kinds of businesses, large and small, and in almost every industry. Some project will make you pull your hair out, others are frankly incredible. You'll work with huge players in all kinds of fields and will have an elite LinkedIn network in no time. Decent pay for a graduate - but the workload doesn't always reflect this!

Cons

If you're expecting a professional workplace - this is not it. Expect open disputes and arguments between senior staff, as well as regular inappropriate language. Stress and late nights. Management will pile work on you. Almost everyone there has worked evenings and even weekends unpaid. Management ask staff to record this time to pay overtime or give TOIL, but in practice they can be reluctant to do so. A point for the ladies: This is a very male company. Expect crude jokes, a real 'lads club' at the top, and the possibility of having a harder time being heard by management. There are a lot of great ladies working there, so you still won't be alone!

Pros

Kittle Group is a delightful place to work. Alan, Sam and Chris have created a welcoming and collaborative working environment that puts people first. This trickles down to providing excellent client service. Kittle is focused on training and continuous learning, providing you with all the tools to succeed. The breadth of clients and industries you will have the opportunity to work with is quite unique and makes Kittle an exciting and dynamic workplace. Being able to work in different teams, build relationships with people at all levels of an organisation on bids that make a real change in society, and learning about new industries is what I loved. On top you this, you will learn from your peeps because of the openness and academic prowess of its staff. Kittle champions thought leadership in the tendering and public procurement industry making it an industry-leading company for work for. Kittle’s great team and focus on hiring graduates with a foundation of academic skills means it is the perfect work place for individuals looking to be mentored and launch into their professional career.

Cons

I am grateful to all of the team at Kittle and thoroughly enjoyed my time there, so I do not have any cons to share.
