Pros

You will appreciate ex bosses too

Cons

If you do a bit of review background research on this company, you MAY find out there are a lot of unfavorable reviews. Let me tell you, those reviews are true to the core. Trust your instinct. Those whom managed to stay ‘long’ in the company mainly happened because of their personal issue - family commitment, low education, too comfortable in this hole. 1. Mismatch of job scope VS job title - You MAY be required to ‘support’ personal errands such as booking of restaurants, switching on lights. 2. Colleagues and environment - 80% of the staff there have serious attitude problem. Minor incident consists of random vulgarities flying around the office where larger incidents will include banging of table, throwing stuff, shouting and raising of voices for something that is not your fault. 3. Work training - You MAY be expected to know things that you have never been taught. Senior staff will be able to WFH, which resulting in them throwing all the office tasks to you when you are extremely new. Senior staff MAY also use their ‘personal’ reason/commitment as an excuse to demand for countless WFH arrangement, if you do not clear their work when they were away, they will bang the table and question as if you owe them something. 4. Work arrangement - Senior staff MAY have it easy by managing lesser teams and new comer will be expected to do A LOT MORE. They will not even bother to introduce you to the teams, so good luck in treasure hunting to look for the PIC for the random piece of paper thrown on your table. 5. Work life balance - Your phone will be flooded with countless calls and messages, demanding you on to run errands even after working hours. They also hate to communicate via emails for some reasons, it will be challenging for you to gather pieces and bits of information from whatsapp messages, to call and verbal communication. IT IS THIS MESSY. 6. Outdated workflow - They are still using hard copy for all of their workflow. Your table will be flooded with countless paper for you to ‘process’ simple things like claims, leave application, petty cash. Join only if you want to be as outdated. 7. No standards - There will be no training given, and you will be left alone in the office where Senior staff is on MCs, leave, WFH. Yet, you will get insulted when you try to figure things out on your own. Often, you don’t know what you have done wrong, yet you are made to be wrong. 8. PTSD - You will probably need a huge amount of time to recover from all these trauma. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR, DO NOT JOIN. Overall: Super high turnover rate, don’t bother remembering names. This is really the worst place to be. Please think twice, don’t waste your time. There are so many negative reviews for a reason. A pleasant working environment wouldn’t ’push’ its staff to type out a negative composition upon leaving. Senior staff MAY probably ‘train’ a new comer to have the new comer leaving after a couple of weeks and the same cycle repeat. We are all human and have dignity, treat each other with respect. Karma is on the way, good luck

Pros

Honestly, no pros other than the office, which is really nicely built. Nearby accessible areas for food etc as well. I guess you get to work on cool projects as well. Some employees are nice and okay to work with.

Cons

Culture is incredibly toxic. Nasty employees and management gossiping about each other, throwing each other under buses. Culture is also incredibly hierarchical. Management expects you to know stuff immediately despite you being new - but yet doesn’t bother to teach you properly. Many employees within the company are stressed out, burnt out, yet underpaid. Also processes are extremely inefficient and slow, due to the traditional old school SME style of operating
