Pros

I don't have any pros.

Cons

I worked at Kinetic Vision for 6 years, starting in 2011. For most of that time, I worked long hours, often including weekends, without overtime compensation. In 2017, I experienced a severe mental health crisis and took short-term disability leave to seek treatment. Throughout my leave, I was in communication with management and was told my position would be secure. When my treatment required transitioning to long-term disability, my employment was terminated in May 2017. I had submitted my long-term disability paperwork on time, but was informed afterward that it was not received by management in time to prevent my termination. This was despite my strong work record, positive reviews, and no prior disciplinary actions. Kinetic Vision’s stated policy is that they are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate based on disability. My experience, however, left me feeling unsupported during a time when I needed accommodation the most. On a positive note, I have since moved on to an employer that offers flexible work arrangements, better work-life balance, and values both my contributions and well-being.
