Pros

I have nothing good to say about this company. The previous owners and employees were great and then the company was bought and they fired all the good people. Now the company is fully of shady, dishonest, unprofessional, incompetent people. It truly is a sinking ship.

Cons

BEWARE! Completely incompetent and dishonest company. Kinetic management and employees are super shady. All they have to do is process payroll and they do not always do that well (I once did not get paid on time ). They do not care about the employees they place in roles, they care more about a relationship with employers. They don't seem to understand that the employee has a choice in which company they contract with. They will try to save the company money when at all possible with no regard for the employee. I had to fight for benefits that were available to me by law. Very unprofessional. I suspect this company will not be in business much longer. I was one of four contractors that worked through this company, now all 4 of us have chosen to never work through Kinetic again. Most frustrating work experience of my life.

Pros

Integrity is extremely important Full Transparency No Micromanagement Kind Owners Knowledgeable staff Extremely supportive

Cons

Very much a start up and one must thrive in ambiguity and wear multiple hats in order to be successful. Very much sink or swim - some may see this as a con, but I like it!

Pros

The people who used to work at Kinetic Search were all friendly, hard-working, capable adults. They had very good relations within the Bay Area tech and design community and were very skilled at pairing candidates to available positions. Unfortunately that is all over now.

Cons

The new owners have taken over and attempted to micro-manage every aspect of the business, despite a thorough lack of understanding of the recruitment industry as a whole or of the specific tech and design realm in which they were trying to remain relevant. Instead of allowing the people who knew the business to continue working and making money for them, the owners opted to fire the entire staff en masse and hire sycophants who likewise know nothing about tech recruitment.
