Pros
You get to experience working with kids and develop newer skills for difficult ones Some of the employees' workshop are interesting
Cons
The organization is very disorganized and lacks complete communication. I ran into my replacement during a weekly meeting in the elevator, and found out they had been training him for weeks, without ever telling me they were. Then I was "asked" if I could transfer to another school by the end of that week, only to be called the next day and told I was needed at a new school that day. I didn't get to say bye or anything to my kids at the previous school. Kid Power changes coordinators throughout the year with no consideration for the kids who see about 3 different faces (or more) throughout the course of a school year. Then when it's time to come back from winter break, I get an email (not a call) informing me I was let go, the day BEFORE classes start. I got other examples but suffice it to say the communication is poor and they don't give employees room to improve because you're not told you need to improve in an area. You're just let go of. Very very poor leadership.
