They split labour at 60/40 in there favour. Parts are the same but they also add 10% onto purchase price so it's actually 70/30. Average job you get £28 then deduct tax, fuel and expenses you normally left with less than £10 profit if you travel any further than 20 miles you often make a loss if you follow HMRC guidance for fuel expense ect. Sub contracted for over 7 years and most the people there don't even know who I am yet alone completing there NCFE course. They expect you to drive 40+ miles then get angry if you decline. Describing the jobs is a stab in the dark often getting the job completely wrong. Course is over priced and teaches very basic stuff. There are better companies out there that offer better splits and actually know who you are. Advertising as local??? Expect you to deal with disgruntled customers and you go back to any recalls for free or they take it out your wages regardless of your situation.
