Cons
Worked at the company for almost two years. Had great relationships with all aspects of management, employees, etc. Almost a year into my career there I voiced my need to move into a higher position as I was planning on taking my career towards being a paralegal. I also voiced my burnout in the intake position as it is handling large amounts of calls every day. I was told the company was looking to grow and upward mobility would be possible. Every few months or so I would check in with my manager and I would get the same run around each time. “We are trying to see a path, we have bigger projects to worry about, etc” After about 6 months of being strung along, I was frustrated. I made the mistake, one I will never make again, of giving an ultimatum. I said if they weren’t going to promote me I would find work elsewhere as this wasn’t going towards my career goals. During this tumultuous time they started offering school benefits which I had inquired about as I was starting school that fall. Once they realized I met the company qualifications to get money from them for school to further my career and that I needed more from them job wise they fired me. They didn’t want to give me the annual raise and pay for part of my school since I had given them an endgame timeline. In all reality, fair. As an employee, and them a business, I get it. However, they fired me for an insane reason. One that all the people who I worked with there agreed was outrageous. I’m giving them two stars because if you work as their little bees and do what they say, they’re a great company. I still have friends who work there now, two years later. For me, however, they were mean, rude, and lied. I just want people to know they’re capable.
