One of the Worst Places to work. - Senior Software QA Engineer Keysight Technologies Employee Review

Pros

Earlier office was a shared campus with Agilent and it had very good infrastructure like Gym, recreational area. Most importantly it was away from city traffic and Hussle. It was the only good point to work there. Now this will be lost once they shift to new office.

Cons

I worked for Keysight Technology (Manesar office / now being shifted to Unitech Cyber Park, Sec 39) for over a year as a contractor. Bottom Line is please DO NOT JOIN this organisation as a contractor (ON Nippon or HCL Technology Payroll) or a permanent employee if you have more than 2 years of experience. Join as Fresher if only you have no other option. Culture here is so bad that increasingly US management is seeing INDIA R&D Technology center as waste of money only. India office is full of politics and culture here is a disaster being run by lunatics. Its the worst place I have worked in my career. All employee and manager care about is to pull other people down ; create problems for them and make them leave. So they can get promoted. Its like each manager has their 1-2 favourite employee and they use them to bring other employee's down and save their position. And the politics is played Top to Bottom. Since long They are trying to create a software platform called "Pathwave" and they had to scrap and restart from scratch multiple times. Its still not in good shape by any stretch of imagination. Each person who makes the receipe for disaster tries to run away when commitment to COO and CEO are broken. Their is no vision. Old employees from Agilent who got promoted to managers (after keysight business was split from Agilent) thinks they own this place.

Pros

One star for the amazing people, one star for paycheck.

Cons

When I left, it took at least a month to decompress from the toxicity. KGM reorgs were a regular occurrence (5 in a 2-year span, for example) resulting in colleagues reappearing in roles in which they have no experience or disappearing all together. This created a culture of constant backstabbing and insecurity. Leadership picked favorites, ignoring the talents of many and this was reflective in bonuses. They undervalue and lose a lot of talented people, and it continues in spite of their recent positive quarterly reports. Reactionary marketing strategies result in a lot of wasted time and work. Read the rest of the reviews before taking on a role here. You will see a pattern.
