Pros

Drone space - you’re in a hot area Nobody cares about expenses - write-off what you please If you’re in a senior role, then feel free to dictate to everyone else on your opinions, regardless of whether they’re worthy

Cons

Serious lack of leadership and diversity - this is a “good friends club” kind of atmosphere If you have real opinions, you better be feisty to fend of the “favorites” that are the few who have been promoted time-and-time again instead of left either thru layoffs or by personal resignation Look at churn and growth rates - they don’t add up. It’s a serious concern overlooked by The Board, because they’re all “buddy-buddy” with Management. No growth potential for new employees. Disregards the replies to this note; defer to previous reviews to see the full scope of this culture downturn / hailstorm — no pun intended.

Pros

We have great people, open and caring leadership and a positive remote culture. I appreciate the efforts of management to hear employees out, share vision and communicate openly. It finally feels we are all rowing together and in the same directions. Sure, there are day to day issues but overall, I find that there is an employee focused culture that is rare at tech companies. I love working with my team and also enjoy collaborating cross functionally.

Cons

I do feel we need a more detailed and focused strategy and roadmap shared to further drive our goals and outcomes. However, I also know I can reach out to my manager and our CEO any time to have my concerns and questions addressed on this. We have systems and processes that do need to be refined, but considering we are doing A Lot with the size we are, I know that these will develop with time.
