Pros

I love my coworkers on my team.

Cons

No raises. No rewards. Changing the office cubes so we can cram as many sardines in as we can with low low walls staring at each other. Call center environment even though we are not part of a call center. Extremely unrealistic expectations. Always way too much work and not enough people. They pile more on but don’t adjust the turn around time. No positive feedback for anyone. They look for ways to nitpick you and knock you down. Major layoffs after merge with Infinity Insurance. Many people looking elsewhere. You have to accrue vacation time, so many hours per pay period, so it is difficult to take any vacation until later in the year, everyone at the same time .

Pay and benefits, supportive coworkers, opportunities to develop critical thinking, communication, and investigation skills. The role provided valuable experience in handling complex claims and making coverage and liability decisions.

Cons

High caseloads and demanding workloads can make it challenging to maintain work life balance. The job can be stressful at times due to deadlines, customer expectations, and the volume of claims.
