      Pros

      The company used to be great when there were more Unitrin employees. It's gone downhill since taking on the Kemper name

      Cons

      They don't understand the true nonstandard market, so they make bad company acquisitions of failing companies. Even worse, they adopt those employees/procesess and its a recipe for disaster. They lay off competent employees to make up for the mistakes.

      High caseloads and demanding workloads can make it challenging to maintain work life balance. The job can be stressful at times due to deadlines, customer expectations, and the volume of claims.
