Disorganized large company with no support - Anonymous employee Kemira Employee Review

The employees at corporate have no clue where their paycheck comes from (aka manufacturing) and therefore provide no support. The company places too much on factory managers and continue to add more. Senior managers make poor business decisions. Employees are not happy. They have had too many lay offs (3 rounds in 2 years at various levels due to "re-structuring" and lack of business demand). There is too much turn over in management due to the issue previously mentioned and they have a hard time keeping good managers due to overloading them. There is no room for growth and no career plan to help you grow at the factory level. The plant is very old and poses a significant safety hazard.
