Pros
There is a good sense of camaraderie among the workforce. The work is interesting and challenging and accomplishments are well recognized. There is a good sense of team spirit and a good work life balance for most employees. There is good opportunity for advancement particularly now that the company has been acquired by a much larger electronics company. A number of people he employees have moved on to better jobs with the Tektronix parent. As a Danaher company opportunities for advancement are likely to increase. The Solon Ohio area is a great area to raise kids with a superb public school system, minimal traffic, and very affordable housing costs.
Cons
Since the acquisition some functions such as manufacturing have been reduced and moved to other locations. Because the acquisition is relatively new there are still open questions as to how other functions might be affected in the future.
