Pros

Supply of free snacks and a fairly laid back office environment.

Cons

I was hired as an "intern" despite having just graduated and not being able to receive any sort of credit for the "internship". As an "intern" I worked over 50 hours a week at minimum wage. The "internship" is really a probationary period where, after 3 months of working, the management decides if they'd like to hire you as a full time employee. I was offered a full time position after the 3 months. With the offer, I was also promoted to a regional manager. However, my pay did not increase, I did not receive stock options (because we were supposedly going through a valuation round) and I did not receive benefits. I continued following up for months about all of these every time I met with my manager. After about 7 months of working at Keepe - 4 months after my "promotion", I was told that there was a freeze on moving people to salaried/options granted/insurance offered positions until everyone could return to the office (this was mid-COVID). At this point, I began asking some of the people who were hired slightly before and after me if they had been moved to salaried positions. To my surprise, they had been. To be clear - I was the highest performer in my pod and was never provided any constructive criticism or negative feedback from any of my managers or peers. After learning about this, I put in my 2 weeks. At this point, I also realized - after looking through my paystubs - that I had never been paid for my over time. Despite working 50-60 hours a week. In addition to all of this, I was hired at the peak of COVID and was required to come into the office where no one wore masks. This trend continued the entire time I was working at Keepe. When I began wearing a mask the CEO stopped interacting with me. So, several cons to consider.

Pros

Net28, what a disappointment it’s not net 28, if it was I would have gotten paid for the job I did on 4-16-26, today is 6-4-26 which means…

Cons

As a contractor, this experience was disappointing. I completed the requested work, submitted my invoice, and expected payment according to the stated terms. The invoice amount was only $150, yet nearly two months later I was still following up to determine the status of payment. I was later informed that invoices must go through an approval process before payment is issued. Had I known the payment timeline would extend this far beyond the invoice terms, I would have made a different business decision. I take pride in providing prompt, professional service to my customers, and I expect the same level of professionalism in return. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to reconsider accepting future work through this company.
