The biggest advantages were the wide variety of work opportunities, the wonderful work community, and the CEO. Mistakes were treated as learning experiences rather than something to be punished for. I am extremely satisfied with my internship, which lasted about 3.5 months. I learned a lot, both about working life and about myself. Even though I worked remotely, I never once felt like I was alone.

I cannot think of any real downsides regarding the company or the work itself. My biggest challenge at the beginning was my own lack of confidence, as I was unsure of my abilities and whether I could meet the expectations of the role. This was not a problem with Katrium, but rather a personal challenge that I was able to overcome during my internship.

At Katrium I did my tasks at a time that suited me best. I had a lot of control over which tasks were given to me. Almost everything is remote, which offers a great amount of flexibility. I was in constant communication with the boss and she was always ready to help me with any problem I might have. I received positive feedback throughout my internship. The work environment was always very friendly. When I made a mistake, it didn't feel like the end of the world, instead we simply focused on how to fix the mistake. I got to do a lot of different things, which taught me a lot and sometimes pushed me out of my comfort zone. Sometimes the boss allowed me to experiment with things I didn't have experience with, such as with wordpress. Overall I had a great time and my five month internship went by very quickly.
