Pros
I can't speak for the other deparments, but at least in support everyone of your co-workers will be looking to help you. The current support management is working really hard to help the staff there.
Cons
- Huge Employee churn, every other week people would quit or get fired with no reasoning given - A place that should feel like a career maker, quickly turn into a stepping stone company with most people lasting a few months a lucky or unlucky few last a year before they want to leave. - You feel like there is a constant battle with all the other departments, and it quickly devolves into constant arguing and blaming other people. - If you go in as a support technician you will remain a support technician until leave, there is no moving to other departments for us. - They implemented SLAs and Ticket pickup requirements that do not make any sense and you are expected to solve quickly even when you don't have the backing of any of the other departments that are meant to help you. - When you are assigned a new module you are expected to be a specialist on it within weeks, despite only receiving an hour of training most of the time.
