Pros

In first six months it is a good way to experience first hand the high pressured tech sales world. Majority of colleagues are decent people.

Cons

Overworked, under-appreciated boys club. There’s clear favouritism with big accounts, supports towards AMs who socialise and party frequently with colleagues. They expect high expansion with small accounts riddled with problems such as billing, collections, low product utilisation. The months you overachieve you will have to make the number for under performers, will be expected to socialise. Months you underachieve all of your activity will be heavily scrutinised and likely put on a PIP. Excessive micromanagement that you can’t switch off. Bring an important metric up, they’ll just call you out on a minor metric that’s down. Horrible work life balance, relationships outside the workplace will suffer.
