      Pros

      My time at Karr Barth Administrators has been marked with extremely professional interactions. Management promotes a family-friendly environment with a healthy work/life balance. I fully endorse employment at this place of business The day that I began I stated, "this is where I want to work until I retire." And, I did.

      Cons

      The only negative situations I have experienced are related to specific individuals. These experiences are mitigated by the overall positive tenor of the workplace environment.

      Pros

      Relatively low stress. Work is at work, your home life is at home. Your day ends at 5 and doesn't come with you.

      Cons

      Making progress is slow. Management wants to control everything and is not open to suggestions. They have an employee run board that is there to make suggestions to the management on behalf of the employees, but no suggestion is ever taken seriously. They are actively using 30 year old software to run their whole business, which is slow and unreliable. Other ways they're behind the times: dress code and remote work policy. We were never allowed to work from home, even though it could be done by anyone with a home computer at no cost to the company.
