Pros
The benefits are good if you can get yourself enough work for your hours to qualify for them.
Cons
Management is not transparent. I was told for months to expect a salaried offer, only to have a total reversal and be told that my department was being reduced to only essential workers within 6 months. I was led on by the promise of full-time after a particularly bad period at work where I had to clean up the work of a coworker who wasn't doing his job. The company does not actually invest in its product and has zero value for content teams. I've been told repeatedly that Kaplan, as an internal policy, does not hire content workers full-time because they view that skill as expendable.
