Pros

From software development point of view, working at Kambr is a great challenge. First of all, you deal with very large data sets. So, you need to craft quality code which is able to deal with such data efficiently and fast. Secondly, the app is used by large corporates to make commercial decisions. So, the calculations and representation of the data needs to be 100% accurate and intuitive. The intuitive part allows you to be creative in ux decisions and gives a lot of room for the future in terms of machine learning and automation implementations. And these make the job even more exciting. In terms of culture, it's a very open one where everybody is listened, can contribute and be creative and everyone in the organization are very reachable. The office is in general fun and very informal, yet people respect your privacy or when you need to be focused. The people in the management level are very experienced and gives you the feeling that they know what they're doing. They have a lot of domain expertise which they like to share with you. Finally, they are good people and treat you that way.

Cons

no cons so far except maybe larger and more monitors for the developers

Pros

Helping airlines engineer ways to lift their unit revenues is rewarding. There are so many levers to pull which makes it a fascinating problem domain.

Cons

Depending on the client mix, travel can sometimes become heavy, especially when customer locations are overseas.

Pros

Fantastic people throughout the entire company, everyone cares about everyone and is invested in making work as smooth and efficient as possible, with long-term goals in mind as well as short-term. I had people from other departments that I didn't work with directly reaching out to me and introducing themselves when I joined, and even making time to meet and chat for a bit. The work feels important and is very rewarding.

Cons

Asynchronous communication/ lack of other developers in my area. When I needed help I typically had to wait a whole day for my questions to be answered since a majority of the company was in a time zone 9 hours ahead. (This is obviously very specific to my situation, your mileage my vary)
