      Pros

      Great market fit, attention of some big brands, product getting better

      Cons

      We have had close to 30 people leave over the last few months including big executives that had plenty of experience to make Kalo a great place to work. Unfortunately, top down doesn't get how to treat employees and the value of being genuine or authentic. Truly a bummer because everyone is leaving and will continue to.

      Since this review, our CEO has built out a seasoned leadership team, including our CTO (ex-SuccessFactors/SAP), VP Product (ex-LinkedIn/Wealthfront), and COO (ex-realtor.com/Barclays).

      Pros

      Kalo is really building something that is needed on the market by both companies and freelancers. It’s easy to believe in this product because it is in fact, amazing. Leadership is young but smart and driven. Office culture is incredibly collaborative, friendly and supportive. It’s an exciting place to be. I have a very direct impact on the product, my voice is heard and I’m not being limited with what I want to accomplish.

      Cons

      This is a startup so don’t expect flossy perks like at large tech companies. But maybe one day:)

      Thank you for the feedback. We are always looking for ways to enhance the benefits and perks we offer our employees. Currently, we offer 99% employer-paid health insurance, 401k, long-term disability, professional development, team lunches/dinners/happy hours, and more.
