      Pros

      I get to work with great people, fun projects are modern technology. Leadership is very friendly and supportive, they trust me to do my work and deliver on priorities. I have all the support I need to be successful here, which is fantastic! I look forward to breaking a record regarding how long I've worked at a company, here at Kafene! At the time of this post, I'm approaching my 3 year anniversary here at Kafene.

      Cons

      If you aren't used to working with geographically distributed engineering teams, that could be an issue for you. I'm used to working with people all over the world remotely so this is not an issue for me.

      Pros

      The people who work at Kafene are all awesome to work with. Especially in the New York office... the culture is great. People are smart, open to new ideas, and collaboration is encouraged. Competitive pay and great benefits. The company cares about employee happiness. There is a good balance of skills and expertise that the leadership team brings to the table -- finance backgrounds and tech backgrounds. It's still a start-up so there are some growing pains with processes and things, but I feel confident the company is moving in the right direction and will continue to grow. The snacks in the office are unmatched.

      Cons

      If you're in NY, you do need to come in 4 days a week. Not a bad thing, but not as much flexibility with your schedule.
