Pros
- mostly work individually so you can plan and arrange your own time - reading materials and technical notes available for reference - hybrid working arrangement (2 days a week wfh) during off-peak
Cons
- High amount of workloads with tight deadlines (normal for this line of work) - Less time to spend with family - Expect to work extra hours (during working hours need to entertain client, attend meetings, coaching juniors. Hence, only able to do your own work during night or weekend in order to finish within the deadline) - High unlikely to receive bonus amounting to 2 months’ pay and more - Hot desk sitting arrangement in office, designated work desk no longer available after office renovation. Totally feels downgraded and not comfortable.
