Pros
I was part of ssg group, my experience was mixed bag (20/80:+ve/-ve) 1) good transport/ convinient location 2) some good bunch of technically sound professional team members(but definitely not from management side) 3) expensive but good canteen(only sdb1) 4) fast and swift response of payroll/flm team for clearance procedure
Cons
Cons 1) Its a very stingy/20th century organization best fit for employee exploitation model, doesn’t offer any reward to education/communication skills/professionalism 2) during year 2010/2011 of the my employment, there was not "single penny increase" in the salary and HR is not aware of this till the resignation date while as KPIT registered 63% profit increase in the same years 3) managers are biased towards tech leads so in case of honest/fair complaints, you need to build the "case" to prove a small point 4) if you caught up with bad tech. leads, your work will never appreciated till you put down the paper 5) big chunk of work get assigned to you and big chunk of credit offered to your leads 6) leader constantly feed wrong information/who’s doing what to manager by chatting(4hrs/day) on communicator to set bad/biased team environment 7) manager didn’t use own discretion to address team member’s complain/issues/escalation 8) you are "disposable asset such as chair" to the manager which can be placed in any department/unit 9) Biz-hr structure is useless, unproductive and burden to employee salary, biz-hr don’t know employee till he resigns the organization 10) My resignation was accepted after 45 days with constant reminders to manager, so no question of buy out/discussions/alternatives 11) Management don’t have any retention plan/alternatives to offer to employee moreover in most of the cases exit interviews doesn’t happen 12) Biz-hr doesn’t have any justifiable explanation for not having 1:1 discussion till the last working day
