The overall management experience was quite poor. The store manager had an unprofessional attitude, often raising her voice and speaking in a disrespectful manner. At that time, there was still a strong foreign influence in the upper management — both the area manager and the person responsible for store inventory were non-Saudi. The work schedule was split into two shifts per day, which made the job exhausting, especially with the large number of daily tasks. These included sales, visual merchandising, receiving and checking clothing deliveries, performing regular stock counts, and closing the daily accounts. We often had to work beyond official hours to complete everything.
