Cons

**Avoid KMH Group – Terrible Company to Work For** I strongly advise anyone considering working for KMH Group to think twice. From day one, the experience was unprofessional and disorganized. I was handed a van with warning lights on (engine oil and service light flashing) and told to just “crack on” with the job. Despite being a salaried role, the company provided no proper tools—just one drill—and expected me to use my own. They claimed they would replace tools if they broke, but realistically, a proper company should equip staff with everything needed to do the job. The job location was also misleading. I was told I’d be based in Milton Keynes but was sent to Doncaster for weeks at a time. On top of that, they falsely claimed you get paid from the moment you leave your house in the morning, which is not true. The pay is poor compared to what cable engineers should be earning, especially considering the company is making millions. The turnover rate is shocking—most engineers leave within six months. Communication is terrible, and there is no proper onboarding: no work email, no clear contacts, no expense system, and no real support. When I decided to leave, the company resorted to petty tactics to avoid paying me what I was owed, inventing claims of “damage” to a vehicle and even saying the seat was wet. They’ll make up any excuse to withhold money. Overall, KMH Group is disorganized, misleading, and exploitative. Unless you’re desperate for very short-term work, stay far away from this company.
