Pros

- annual claim of 2K for self and family medical expenses including dental, TCM and health screening - office has gym, pantry got free coffee (Nescafe coffee machine and bean grinder machine), free biscuits and every Wednesday has free fruits

Cons

- my ex boss is super micromanagement style, flip prata and super emotional queen, please judge your future boss during interview wisely and must think twice - no development or training opportunities, as she will not approve it for admin due to the cost will charge to own department cost center, they will invest on engineers only - don’t ever think of internal transfer if work under this boss, as you will need her approval before you can apply it, she can say OK today and rejected you next day or even next second (her this behaviour apply to everything not just for internal transfer) - she will think of misc report for you to do even you are super busy and she took all the credit and the so called report in her eyes is just data collection, is for her to prepare report to show her boss - no monthly team meeting or 1 on 1 session , she will ignore your work problem if you try to feedback to her - no development progress at all, you will forever be admins only if you never quit or get chance to transfer out, she will always emphasize after 3 years only will have promotion even I did not ask her, in fact KLA has no limit on this, I have seen other team 1 year already get promoted Above are just part of it, I can’t list out all, best luck to you if you are joining her team 🍀

Pros

If you’re looking for a place where accountability doesn’t exist and you can do the bare minimum while getting paid maximum overtime, this is your spot. No approval needed, no questions asked—just stay late, watch YouTube, and collect your paycheck (plus free food if you linger long enough). Weekends are basically a free-for-all since the people who are supposed to supervise are either absent or the worst offenders.

Cons

This place is what happens when a parent company buys a smaller one and then completely forgets it exists. There is zero meaningful oversight. Management knows exactly what’s going on—they just don’t care as long as quotas are eventually met. Efficiency, integrity, and actual productivity mean nothing here. Documentation is either nonexistent or completely useless, full of errors and missing critical information. Parts are constantly missing, and instead of fixing the system, people exploit it to justify delays and stretch their hours. The entire operation rewards time-wasting over competence. The culture actively punishes anyone who tries to work a normal, honest 8-hour day. Want recognition or a raise? Better start padding your hours. The more time you burn, the more management “appreciates” you. It’s not about results—it’s about how long you can pretend to be working. Managers, being salaried, conveniently disappear when it matters most—nights and weekends—while turning a blind eye to the dysfunction they fully understand. Leadership isn’t absent by accident; it’s absent by choice.
