Fun work environment and good perks if you like borrowing kayaks for research purposes. I don't know if they still offer that. I was there at a growth time for the company. It was very exciting to see all the way's the company was changing and helping to be a part of that.
Cons
Old offices/building space. The buildings were erected in the early 80s and have been remodeled maybe once since then. Not a big deal. I really liked the first owners, and the second owners drove the company into bankruptcy. I have no idea what it's like now.
You get a pay check, You can try and grind and there is opportunity for overtime and possible movement in the rankings. Everything seemed alright at first then you got to see the more in depth picture.
Cons
Management does not communicate. No one if the front office can get materials efficiently. They will back door you if you bring up problems and solutions that cost money. They would rather have run down equipment for 30+ years and make you deal with it instead of buying new equipment. They always talk about safety and yet wont spend money to make it safer for employees.
