Pros
The only pro I experienced while working for this company was the incredible team I was able to work with. My colleagues were some of the most collaborative and focused techs I have had the pleasure to work with.
Cons
I joined this company as one of the youngest techs to many promises of future structure, training, and advancement opportunities. Sadly, these promises never came to fruition. I was never given formal training and was never able to feel confident in my work due to lack of resources. While I could always reach out to a colleague for help, the upper management seemed unapproachable. The few times we were able to express our concerns they fell on deaf ears with almost immediate responses of why a thing is a certain way. We were constantly told that we were being listened to while those making decisions never took our words into account. Annoyances and frustrations that were continuously ignored ended up becoming major pain points for myself and colleagues. The management and executives at this company very much enjoy their title of “great place to work” without much action to back it up in my experience. We were constantly told how much we were progressing and improving as a company while things only continued to become worse for the employees. My only assumption is that we were lied to in order to to not drop morale. Due to the crypto market issues revolving around the FTX breakdown, they abruptly laid off around 11 technicians (a little over half of the workforce) without warning. This was the end of my employment with this company and it was more of a blessing than a setback.
