Pros
Every single person from the front desk to the CEO is driven by the greater purpose of Protecting Children, Supporting Families, and Engaging Communities. We all support one another, even if we aren't out in the trenches like the social workers/case managers are. We all feel that in some small way, we are helping our community.
Our hard work/dedication is also recognized - pretty much every holiday we get some sort of small trinket whether it's a little pinch of candy or little KCI marketing item. We have an annual company retreat, holiday party (yes we all get a cool gift), fundraising events and more.
PTO is awesome - we get 10 paid holidays off each year plus a bonus "floating holiday" which is basically another free day of PTO to use. When we first start out, we accrue PTO from day 1 and it's like 11 hours/month. So basically, we get like 29 days off in the first year!
Oh, and after training, depending on your job, you may be able to work from home.
Cons
I wish I had applied sooner... love this place!
