Pros
Flexibility. The company was flexible letting you work remotely and organize your work with your client.
Good payment. Salaries range from 60 to 80k per year based on your responsibilities
Cons
1 man show: there is no clear strategy, just what management wants asap
High stress environment: depending on what manager you work you might be getting late night calls Sunday’s for random requests
Chaos: since it is a 1-man show, everyone does what they *understand* the management wants….
Lack of transparency: nobody knows what is happening, gossips are common and secret societies too.
No career path: you don’t even keep your current title, so why worrying about your next
Gaslighting and shaming: they’ll tell employees that they’re not taking “ownership” so that you feel guilty and do work for free, barley they’ll thank you and the new standard will be shamed as too low some months later
Kick to shoot: the moment their non strategy goes down, they’ll fire anyone they can as fast as they can and start again
