Pros

The free food and drinks are awesome. The management is flexible and they were always willing to give me time off I wanted. I made friends and had a great relationship with everyone there. I had fun at work. They were prompt with paycheck and I never had any issue getting paid what I was owed.

Cons

They don't care about the time you're supposed to get off work- they'll keep you however much they want to get stuff done. Or they'll make you go home early if the "numbers" look bad. It's hard work and they only pay minimum wage, so you exhaust yourself for peanuts. There are no raises, only promotion for those that stay around for years, and some don't even get that. There is no real advancement and my manager confided that his pay wasn't much higher than mine. Plus, they don't give you the hours you want. When I wanted less hours, they carried on giving me too many. Then when I was free to work those hours, they cut them and haven't restored them to any previous level.

Pros

Working at KFC has several advantages. One major benefit is the flexible scheduling, which makes it a good option for students or people with other jobs. The position is also entry-level friendly, meaning employees typically do not need prior experience to get hired. In addition, the fast-paced environment can make shifts feel shorter and more engaging. Many employees also enjoy the team atmosphere and develop friendships with their coworkers. Another advantage is the availability of employee discounts or free food during shifts, as well as the potential for advancement into shift leader or management roles.

Cons

However, there are also some disadvantages to working at KFC. The pay is often relatively low, usually close to minimum wage. The job can be physically demanding, requiring employees to stand for long periods, work in a hot kitchen, and perform tasks such as lifting and cleaning. The work environment can also be messy due to grease and food preparation. Additionally, the job can be stressful during busy hours, especially when dealing with long lines or high customer demand. Employees may also have to handle difficult or impatient customers, which can be challenging. Finally, work schedules may be inconsistent, with hours varying from week to week.
