Co-workers will attempt to sabotage you with a smile on. Low technically skilled colleagues, High Tech Debt. Very poor documentation which is used as job security by most of the local seniors. Japanese culture of voluntary overtime combined with American Layoff culture yield a truly awful work life balance, high stress and very low job security. Large amount of visa work holders. Usually titled as Senior Managers that will only stay for a short time. If they mess up its ok because they will go back to JPN and not deal with these clients again. They suffer no repercussions for poor work, usually having poor English and average Technical skills. They get to learn with your livelyhood and job security at risk.
