Pros
Mike Neal seems like an extremely humble leader and he has embraced Extreme Ownership macromanagement. You don't have upper management breathing down your neck and they trust their employees to perform tasks at hand for successful projects. This is what happens when you hire good people. Pay and benefits are extremely good. The company has grown 3x as fast as competition who have 3x the experience in years of KAST. Great field office administrative staff.
Cons
The main office is run like a high school and it shows at the company meetings. The women especially talk crap behind other's backs. Very hard to connect with people other than your project team. You end up working in silos. No internal hiring. They only hire from 3rd party recruiters/headhunters who make promises KAST can uphold and i doubt they even communicate much with KAST prior to the employee starting.
