Horrible management run don't walk away - CNA/QMAP Juniper Communities Employee Review

Pros

The residents and some coworkers were amazing to work with but other than that not really worth it. It was fun working there up until Megan the Executive passed away after that the whole facility and job and care from management went downhill.

Cons

Management will work you until you drop dead and constantly allow you to work short-staffed but tell you not to tell anyone you are short-staffed as if the residents and family members don't notice. So many coworkers are worthless and nothing more than a warm body to appear you have enough when honestly maybe 2 out of 4 are actually doing all the work. Management has no issue leaving overnight working by themselves and telling you to call help from the other buildings on campus leaving them short-handed as well.

Pros

Working at Juniper Brookline SNF has been an incredibly positive experience for me. From day one, I felt welcomed into a supportive and collaborative environment where people genuinely look out for each other. The culture here makes it clear that you’re never alone—whether you need help with a task or just someone to talk through ideas with. One thing that really stands out is how well-staffed everything is. It allows everyone to do their jobs effectively without feeling overwhelmed, which makes a huge difference in maintaining both quality of work and work-life balance. Juniper also goes above and beyond to make employees feel appreciated. The weekly staff appreciation events are a great touch—they’re thoughtful, consistent, and help build a strong sense of community across the team. It’s clear that leadership values the people who work here. Overall, I feel genuinely valued in my role, and that’s not something you find everywhere. If you’re looking for a workplace that combines support, appreciation, and a positive team environment, Juniper is a great place to be.

Pros

Kind from the top of leadership down to the community level. Always willing to listen to new ideas. Great lifestyle for seniors.

Cons

The community is a bit older compared to the new shinny pennies in the area. However, I truly believe we do it best here at Juniper Village Bucks.
