Pros

Friendly, well-meaning colleagues who genuinely care and support each other. The company has a strong product with real value in the marketplace.

Cons

Micromanagement from leadership creates a lack of trust and autonomy. The workload is consistently heavy, leading to burnout, with little recognition or compensation to match. Work-life balance is poor and often unsustainable. The culture used to be different years ago, but new management changes over the past 2 years have led to a very different company than it was. When the workload expands, new (cheap) hires are brought in who are quite junior. They are then micromanaged and overworked, leading to burnout and quitting, which results in new (cheap) junior hires, who need to be micromanaged as they then burnout and quit, etc. The cycle continues.
