Pros

Great exposure into what an organization looks like when CEO is scrambling for an exit.

Cons

This is a heavy, top-down company where executive managers without training, make endless, fear-based decisions. There is zero leadership at Jumpshot and they frankly don't care. The vast majority of the executive team has no idea how to do their job and would be hard-pressed to be hired in a like role elsewhere. CEO is frustrated he's not getting the most out of the team and trusts no one. Most Tech companies want you to bring your whole self to the office everyday. Not Jumpshot. Check your whole self at the door and put on your professional face and your butt better be in seat at 9am. If you are late it is recorded and noticed. The culture is toxic, siloed with many cliques. The people that have been there for years are very junior and is either their first or second job, meaning they don't understand how bad the environment/company is. They brought in someone in HR who is not a people person and doing their time because they too are inexperienced. They have fired many amazing people. The CEO declared that one of the fires wasn't a cultural fit to the team, yet the way they let this person go was horrific and noticed. If you want to survive here, lay low, do the bare minimum, be at your desk from 9-5, M-F and don't question anything or offer solutions.

Pros

- People: The people are fantastic. All are super smart and kind. - Jobs: It's a start up so people are tasked with a lot. But this leads to learning and career growth. There's a lot of internal promotions. - Product: The product itself is gaining major traction in the industry and becoming a major competitive player. - Office: We're planning to move to a nicer office sometime next year. Current office is a bit dark and dull - Leadership: Super focused on growing all parts of the company in a positive direction. They seem to be in it for all the right reasons - Benefits: The health (Etc) bene's are really solid and inexpensive. - Etc: Catered lunches, dog friendly office, happy hours

Cons

- No set-in-stone WFH policy, but people do work from home frequently with manager approval. It's not a problem. - We need to hire more people for supporting all teams
