Thank you for sharing your thoughts on being an RBT at Jumpstart! Unfortunately, there are times when clients cancel their sessions, but we do offer our team opportunities to make up those hours by covering for another session or helping with tasks around the center.

Pros

- Comprehensive training and onboarding — far more in-depth than other ABA or healthcare agencies I’ve worked for - Clear, consistent expectations covered in training and written out - Supervisors are regularly on-site and available for support, and even if they aren't in the center for a day, they will answer a Slack or text quickly - Other more experienced RBTs and "support" staff are always willing to help or jump in when needed - The leadership seems to genuinely care about employees and kids - Feels like a team working toward a shared mission, not just a job

Cons

- The work can be fast-paced and demanding at times (but that’s the nature of ABA and healthcare) - High standards and accountability might not be a fit for everyone, especially those who just want to "do their own thing"
