Pros

The training is very thorough and gets you through the exam. They have iPads.

Cons

Their sick policy directly contradicts their attendance policy You literally get punished for calling out even if suck even though they tell you not to come in They don’t follow their own rules Trainers and managers are rude and don’t care about anything unless they want to talk because you’re in trouble Coworkers will lie and do things to purposely get you in trouble The attendance policy leaves absolutely no room for illness or emergencies or anything really Management gets angry when you request to use your PTO The pay is SIGNIFICANTLY less than other centers with little to no benefits The RBT increase they talk about when they hire you is like $1 more than when you weren’t registered The training is so intense and intimidating people don’t walk, they run out the door Overall, a horrible company to work for. They made me feel like trash the entire time I worked there. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We do agree that our Behavior Technicians work hard to provide the best services possible to our learners. At the same time, our leadership and human resources teams work hard to ensure a holistic compensation package that includes pay rate, consistent and guaranteed work hours, paid training above industry standards, Paid Time Off (PTO), bonus PTO, medical and retirement benefits, Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), employee health & wellness programs, professional development, and more. We know that taking time off is important and that sickness is more prevalent over cold and flu season when working with children. We have created procedures around our sick, attendance, and time off request policies that consider a safe environment as well as consistent hours for both our learners and staff.

Pros

- Comprehensive training and onboarding — far more in-depth than other ABA or healthcare agencies I’ve worked for - Clear, consistent expectations covered in training and written out - Supervisors are regularly on-site and available for support, and even if they aren't in the center for a day, they will answer a Slack or text quickly - Other more experienced RBTs and "support" staff are always willing to help or jump in when needed - The leadership seems to genuinely care about employees and kids - Feels like a team working toward a shared mission, not just a job

Cons

- The work can be fast-paced and demanding at times (but that’s the nature of ABA and healthcare) - High standards and accountability might not be a fit for everyone, especially those who just want to "do their own thing"
