Pros
In the 4+ years I worked for Juhll, under the mentorship of Chris & Jen I gained extraordinary education & experience in business/marketing/advertising.
To anyone with drive & willingness to put in the work, the sky is the limit within the company. Obviously my job responsibilities were my primary focus, but I was constantly encouraged propose new ways to grow the company as well as further my own education. Jen & Chris are good people who strive for a win-win in every employee situation.
Jen & Chris both consistently encouraged setting boundaries, being transparent, setting goals & following through with those goals. The environment was very much, "Work hard, play hard". Unlike big corporations, when the company is winning, you're winning too.
Jen, who I worked the closest with in my years at Juhll, had this simple mantra: "Do what you say you're going to ." As simple as it sounds, it was something I was able to carry over to my personal life as well as my entire career path thus far.
Cons
Juhll provides a competitive & challenging work environment, so if you're looking for a leisure J-O-B, this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for a career that constantly challenges your growth & efforts- this is where you want to be.
Juhll is not a big corporate business. In the corporate world you're a number & you may be able to get away falling under the radar at times. At Juhll, you're a valuable individual, and while this means you won't get away with flying under the radar or slacking off (because each employee is truly valued), the bonus is, you aren't just a number. Your efforts (or lack thereof) will be recognized.
