Pros

The amount I have learned from working at Juhll is incomparable and I have always been provided with the opportunity to create my own path. The Exec team is incredibly smart and work with you on achieving your career goals at this agency. They have an open door policy which allows us to utilize their strengths and experience to combat any weaknesses. Free weekly lunches, ability to work remote, and holiday time off are all added bonuses. Plus the team adds to the work environment with pot lucks, office parties and happy hours. Work remote? They'll conference you in so you don't miss the party.

Cons

As a small agency, you have to work hard. You wear multiple hats and are challenged to learn new things. The flexibility and added benefits of working at a large corporation are not available at this level usually but the loyalty and understanding of developing a personal relationship with the CEO and President allow you flexibility as needed.

Pros

This is a small business experiencing hockey-stick growth. This means that you will have the opportunity to both be a part of massive growth, but also have the opportunity to be an integral part of it.

Cons

The company is NOT Fortune 500. Cushy benefits, ample vacation time and an ability to hide in the shadows, if that's what you are looking for, is not what the opportunity that is available, here. This isn't a place, necessarily, for work-life balance. This is a place to be heads-down, work your butt off and be a part of building something exciting. If this isn't what you are looking for, then you likely will not be happy, here.

Pros

In the 4+ years I worked for Juhll, under the mentorship of Chris & Jen I gained extraordinary education & experience in business/marketing/advertising. To anyone with drive & willingness to put in the work, the sky is the limit within the company. Obviously my job responsibilities were my primary focus, but I was constantly encouraged propose new ways to grow the company as well as further my own education. Jen & Chris are good people who strive for a win-win in every employee situation. Jen & Chris both consistently encouraged setting boundaries, being transparent, setting goals & following through with those goals. The environment was very much, "Work hard, play hard". Unlike big corporations, when the company is winning, you're winning too. Jen, who I worked the closest with in my years at Juhll, had this simple mantra: "Do what you say you're going to ." As simple as it sounds, it was something I was able to carry over to my personal life as well as my entire career path thus far.

Cons

Juhll provides a competitive & challenging work environment, so if you're looking for a leisure J-O-B, this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for a career that constantly challenges your growth & efforts- this is where you want to be. Juhll is not a big corporate business. In the corporate world you're a number & you may be able to get away falling under the radar at times. At Juhll, you're a valuable individual, and while this means you won't get away with flying under the radar or slacking off (because each employee is truly valued), the bonus is, you aren't just a number. Your efforts (or lack thereof) will be recognized.
