Pros
When you join, the technology ramp ups are really good and you get to learn a lot.
Cons
1. Projects are not challenging enough. 2. It's service based so you need to just do what your offshore team says. All management cares about is that you work so that clients can pay for you, and not complain about the work. 3. You will never get good quality and challenging work as your offshore counterparts. They will mostly give you maintenance work. 4. Management will trick you into taking team responsibilities so that you don't complain about work. It's pure business for them. 5. You only learn for the first 1 or 2 years and then it's a dead end. They don't have good and enough projects to help you grow beyond that period. 6. Retention rate is very very poor. 1 out of 10 might stay after 1-2 years, rest leave. 7. Hikes are not good, appraisals are based on how much extra curricular work like managing parties, etc you did, and not solely based on your technical expertise. Advice to candidates : If you really care about your future and you are technically very good then : A) Do not join this company. They don't value technical expertise, all they want is write working code and get it to work so that the client is happy. B) If you have joined, well you know what's best for you.
