Pros

Great benefits, Bonuses, and average pay. It depends on the job. If you don't mind spending 80 % of your time monitoring a production line and performing routine duties such as weighing parts then the entry level production engineer is a good place to start out of college to get experience in a manufacturing plant.

Cons

Loud, poor communication, messy on the production lines. Many union operators are a pain to work with. They are always trying to get away with doing the bare minimum and get very angry if they feel the production lines are running too fast. They can get spiteful and start damaging parts which makes the engineer on the line look bad.

Pros

If you are lazy, this is the place for you

Cons

If you are somewhat competent, don’t worry, management doesn’t care. Employees are part of their politics game. From orders delay to customer complaints, management’s resolutions are to put in more tedious complicated system and lay off actual workers. Constant restructuring every 6 months with no idea what they want. Base pay is below average. Not sure why investors are still investing and why customers are still buying. I would give 0 star if I can.
