      I was in my role for 10 months when layoffs were announced and our entire team was laid off. During our time there, it was virtually impossible to get anything done. Purchase orders were not being paid extremely late, it was embarrassing handling that. We had to fight to get internal funding for our projects so much that other teams funded parts of our project with their budgets.

      Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

      Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
