- Lots of opportunities to learn directly from the Principal - Co-workers were nice - The work was interesting and you can actually contribute to the firm - Flexible with hours within reason - Learn new programs Johnson was an amazing Principal and teacher. He is very knowledgeable on many aspects of architecture, and he is always willing to teach new things. The overall experience was great as the office was welcoming and the work was interesting. I would definitely recommend working here, especially if you want to learn more about different aspects of the industry,

- During slow season there may not be much work - Depending on the time, may be stuck doing one thing such as only rendering or only CAD Unfortunately, since I was only there for 4 months, I was mainly on 3D model making and rendering (which luckily I wanted to learn more about). It depends on the timing.

I had a great and extremely insightful experience during my time working at Johnson Chou Inc. There is a range of different projects to work on that allowed me to further develop my technical skills and knowledge about the industry. As a young designer, being able to have support and learn directly from Johnson and Silke is something that I highly value. Everyone in the office is very friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed working in such a collaborative environment!

Since my internship was only a couple of months, I was unable to really see any of the projects I worked on come to fruition and would’ve liked to further develop some more technical skills if I had more time.
