      If you are in a great research group this place can open a lot of doors for you.

      Cons

      Looking behind the scenes you can still find a lot of things that are going wrong; power dynamics, unpaid students, ... It is still a traditional research institute and therefore they are fighting with classic toxic dynamics in academia.

      Pros

      It is so far one of the best research centers I've been. It has by far the most cutting-edge technology, incredibly talented PIs, as well as other peers and PhD students, good for networking and they also provide nice trainings and courses to develop news skills.

      Cons

      Work-life balance is not the best. The prevailing work culture here appears to normalize extended working hours and frequent weekend presence.
